GENERAL OBJECTIVES
1.- Train dancers to obtain high technical, artistic and mental mastery when performing classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance, as well as individually maximize the personality, physical characteristics and artistic potential of each student.
2.- Master, as performers, the positions and movements that make up the academic technique in the work of the pointe and the half-pointe in company and high-performance classes and rehearsals.
3.- Work on the expressive and unique artistry of each dancer.
4.- Know and make known the technical-artistic work in classes and high-performance rehearsals and stage presentations
5.- Analyze the stages and phases of learning each movement with the use of music (related to the musical times of each of the movements).
6.- Nutritional guidance
This High Performance program focuses on training with aspects of the Balanchine style, and the technical and artistic solidity of the Cuban Ballet School, allowing the student to obtain a high technical level.

- High mental concentration and focus for future auditions, roles and competitions.
- Understand and master couple work.
Dancers interested in being part of this high-performance program will be evaluated by the artistic leadership in an audition in the studio or by video, to decide if the student has the necessary qualities to be accepted.

Have availability for the scheduled training times and days
Punctuality and commitment of the dancer to arrival on time (preferably 20 minutes before the scheduled start time of class, to warm up their body to avoid injuries)
It is of utmost importance that the dancer's clothing and general presence is correct for taking classes and rehearsals.
Female dancers with their hair tied up with onions for classical ballet classes and rehearsals, pink tights, a plain black leotard, and pink pointe or half-pointe shoes.
Male dancers have properly combed hair, a tight-fitting white shirt, long black shorts or tights, and white or black mid-toe sneakers.
For contemporary or neoclassical choreography rehearsals, it will be decided with the faculty or choreographer in charge of the rehearsal what clothing to use.
Physical and artistic qualities necessary to guarantee favorable results for the dancer
Have prior knowledge of classical dance at an upper secondary level 6/7/8
Extensions, flexibility of feet, legs and arms suitable for classical dance
Minimum of one-year commitment required.
*Dancers with previous serious injuries will not be allowed in the program and if you had a minor injury, please detail it when filling out the registration form.
Alchemy Ballet Company believes a dancer must be versatile to have more opportunities when appearing in auditions. With this training program, the dancers who complete it will be able to achieve all the objectives needed to obtain a contract as professional dancer in international ballet companies .
